24/2/13 Well done Sarah Pickering – Sarah (9) is one of our trampolinists who has a passion for running. Sarah trains hard at her running and is a regular at parkrun, little athletics, veterans athletics (yes really) and she has also given me good advice on running – my unofficial running coach :). Today Sarah competed in Regional Little Athletics and put in a mighty effort (in hot conditions) to come 3rd in the 800metre race for her age group.Brett and i were there to watch her run and it was very exciting, especially watching the grit and determination on Sarah’s face. Sarah ran a personal best time 2:47.4 which was wonderful and this run will qualify Sarah to run at the State Championships. Well done Sarah!
